Hollow Lantern
★★★★★ 4.7
Hollow Lantern is quiet and a little melancholy, in the best way. You wander an abandoned town carrying a lantern, solving small environmental puzzles to bring light back to its streets. There's no combat and no timer, just you, the dark, and a gentle sense of discovery.
The puzzles are built into the world rather than bolted on, so progress feels like learning the place rather than clearing checklists. I played most of it with headphones on and the ambient sound did a lot of the heavy lifting.
It's a short game, maybe four hours, but it doesn't overstay its welcome. If you want something calm to unwind with, this is an easy recommendation.
